This red berries milkshake is what I call a perfect summer drink, it's creamy, refreshing and so delicious. It doesn't contain any sugar and it's a super sweet healthy treat!
In the middle of a heatwave, this drink is a better treat than any ice cream that you crave. The recipe consists of 3 main ingredients and it can be done under 5 minutes.
I always pick 2 kinds of fruits and fresh low-fat milk. Choice of summer berries, that are tangy and give amazing vibrant color and banana. The banana in this recipe is key for sweetness. I prefer to use frozen fruits, which means I don't need to put ice cubes into a blender, it's quick and easy.
HERE'S ALL THAT YOU NEED:
GREAT SAVING TIP: The best tip for how to avoid banana waste is always when you are sure it's gonna be rotten and you are not gonna eat it, to pop it into the freezer. So when I see bananas on their peel turning black, it's a sign to do it. These bananas are super sweet and ripe. You will be amazed how many bananas lives have saved in your freezer. These frozen bananas are perfect for this kind of recipe!
To decorate these milkshake cups to make them look just as beautiful as this you will need the following:
Dip the rim of your milkshake cups into melted white chocolate, then press it into a plate of desiccated coconut. Spray whipping cream into cups and decorate with red berries. Serve immediately!
