Snickers Peanut Butter Cups

Snickers Peanut Butter Cups

Homemade Snickers peanut butter cups made with just wholesome ingredients. Perfect for holidays, in other words, a sugar control snack. Gluten-free treat that you will love!

If you are looking for a festive, quick treat, this is the right one! It's easy and can be done just in 15 minutes. These peanut butter cups consist of 3 layers. There are many variations of layering this dessert. Cups can be filled with chocolate on the bottom or just on top. I like to fill bottoms, sides, and tops with chocolate, whence the peanut butter filling will stay inside. Another variation of the recipe is to place peanut butter filling on the bottom of the cup and cover it with chocolate on top. If you decide on this version, keep in mind that you need to add more flour to the peanut butter mixture.

Snickers Peanut Butter Cups at its best!

Ingredients
  • 1/2 cup peanut butter
  • 1/2 cup maple syrup
  • 1 cup almond/oat flour
  • 150 g chocolate chips (1 cup)
  • 2 tbsp chopped hazelnuts/peanuts
Instructions
  1. Recipe Instruction

In large bowl add maple syrup, peanut butter, oat flour and mix together well.

  2. Recipe Instruction

Melt chocolate chips in the microwave oven for 30 seconds, or melt them in a water bath.
Fill the cups with chocolate on the bottom and spread chocolate on the sides. Place in the freezer for 5 minutes. If a chocolate layer is too thin, you can repeat the process. Spread chocolate on sides and freeze again, to prevent filling leak.

  3. Recipe Instructions

Fill the cups with peanut butter mixture, and you can add on top a white chocolate button to each cup (optional). Finally, cover peanut cups on top with chocolate.

  4. Recipe Instructions

Finish with chopped peanuts or hazelnuts, and freeze for another 10 minutes. Serve chilled, and store them in the fridge for up to 5 days.
