This Healthier Blueberry Tiramisu is a dreamy, creamy dessert that will melt in your mouth with every bite. It's light, refreshing, and made with no coffee or raw eggs – perfect for the whole family to enjoy. The combination of soft lady biscuits, velvety cream, and fruity blueberry sauce creates a balanced sweetness that makes this dessert a wonderful treat for Iftar during Ramadan or any special occasion.
Start by whipping double cream with powdered sugar until soft peaks form. In a separate bowl, gently mix cream cheese until smooth. Carefully fold the whipped cream into the cream cheese using a spatula until well combined and light in texture. This creates a silky, rich cream that will be the heart of your tiramisu.
In a small saucepan, cook blueberries with brown sugar over medium heat until they release their juices. Dissolve cornstarch in water and stir into the blueberries. Mash the blueberries lightly with a fork to create a slightly chunky texture. Let the sauce simmer until it thickens into a pudding-like consistency — not too runny, not too sticky. Then set aside and allow to cool completely.
Shortcut tip: You can also use store-bought blueberry jam if you're short on time!
First prepare a 20x30 cm Pyrex glass dish or any similar size dish. Fill a piping bag with the tiramisu cream to make layering easier.
Begin with a layer of lady biscuits. If you prefer a traditional flavor, dip them quickly in coffee, but to keep the dessert kids-friendly, leave them dry.
Decorate with fresh blueberries and mint leaves as shown in the picture.
Refrigerate the tiramisu overnight to allow all the flavors to blend together and the biscuits to soften. This dessert tastes best after at least 12 hours of chilling. Store in the refrigerator for up to 3 days – making it a perfect make-ahead dessert for Ramadan nights
