Instead of buying an expensive box of chocolates, I decided to reuse an empty Ferrero Rocher box and fill it with homemade gourmet truffles. This makes it a perfect Ramadan gift, Eid treat, or special occasion dessert.
If you love no-bake desserts, these truffles are quick and easy to make with just a few ingredients. Plus, they taste even better than store-bought chocolates!

HOW TO MAKE FERRERO-INSPIRED TRUFFLES
Each truffle has a unique flavor, but the process is simple and fun! You can make just one flavor or all five and arrange them in an empty Ferrero Rocher box for a stunning presentation.

PISTACHIO TRUFFLES
Makes 8 truffles

INGREDIENTS
- 8 Maltesers balls
- 70 g pistachios
- 2 tbsp white melted chocolate
- 1 tbsp pistachio cream
- 2 biscuits
INSTRUCTIONS
- Blend the dry ingredients – In a blender, add pistachios and biscuits. Blend until finely ground.
- Mix in the chocolate – Add the melted white chocolate and pistachio cream. Blend again until it forms a sticky dough.
- Shape the truffles – Take a small portion of the mixture, place a Malteser in the center, and roll into a smooth ball.
- Set in mini cases – Place each truffle in a 2.5 cm mini cake case and arrange in the box.
BISCOFF TRUFFLES
Makes 4 truffles
INGREDIENTS
- 4 Biscoff biscuits
- 1 tbsp biscuit spread
- 1–2 tbsp sweet condensed milk
- 30 g white chocolate
- 1 tsp biscuit spread (melted with white chocolate for Caramilk effect)
INSTRUCTIONS
- Crush the biscuits – In a bowl, crush the Biscoff biscuits into fine crumbs.
- Form the dough – Add the biscuit spread and condensed milk. Mix until a soft dough forms.
- Shape into balls – Roll the mixture into small truffles.
- Coat with Caramilk chocolate – Melt white chocolate and mix in the extra biscuit spread. Dip each truffle in the melted chocolate and place on a tray.
- Decorate – Drizzle with extra white chocolate and sprinkle with crushed Biscoff crumbs.
COCONUT RAFFAELLO TRUFFLES
Makes 8 truffles

INGREDIENTS
- 1 cup desiccated coconut
- 2 ground tea biscuits
- 1/4 cup rice crispies
- 8 whole almonds
INSTRUCTIONS
- Mix the dry ingredients – In a bowl, combine coconut, crushed biscuits, and rice crispies.
- Shape the truffles – Take a small portion, place an almond in the center, and roll into a ball.
- Coat in coconut – Roll the truffles in extra coconut for a classic Raffaelo look.
- Place in mini paper cases and arrange in the box.
FERRERO ROCHER TRUFFLES
Makes 8 truffles

INGREDIENTS
- 8 Maltesers balls
- 20 g chopped hazelnuts
- 6 crushed tea biscuits
- 20 g cocoa powder
- 2–3 tbsp sweet condensed milk
INSTRUCTIONS
- Mix the dry ingredients – In a bowl, combine crushed biscuits, cocoa powder, and chopped hazelnuts.
- Form the dough – Add condensed milk and mix until a sticky dough forms.
- Shape the truffles – Take a small portion, place a Malteser in the center, and roll into a ball. If sticky, lightly oil your hands.
- Chill and serve – Place in the fridge for 30 minutes before serving.
DUBAI KNAFEH PISTACHIO TRUFFLES
Makes 6–8 truffles

INGREDIENTS
- 3–4 tbsp pistachio cream
- 2–3 tbsp toasted Knafeh
- 30 g milk chocolate
- 1 drop green coloring
- 10 g white chocolate (for piping decoration)
INSTRUCTIONS
- Mix the filling – In a bowl, combine pistachio cream and toasted Knafeh.
- Shape the truffles – Roll the mixture into small balls.
- Coat with chocolate – Melt the milk chocolate and dip each truffle into it.
- Decorate – Melt white chocolate, add a drop of green food coloring, and pipe over the truffles for an elegant finish.
- Set in the fridge for at least 30 minutes before serving.
STORAGE INSTRUCTIONS
These homemade truffles stay fresh for up to 5 days in the fridge. Store them in an airtight container to keep them from drying out.
