I made this Chocolate Nutella Spread last time for morning’s breakfast toasts, and it was brilliant! Surprisingly I was wondering why I didn’t make homemade Nutella earlier. It takes maybe 10 minutes to make this a goodness. Then we have it for a snack, and I spread Nutella over banana halves with some chopped hazelnuts top, as it was so good and we didn’t have enough of it.

Add hazelnuts to high powered food processor and blend until smooth. At first, it will be powdery like flour, stop machine and stir and scrape down sides, then continue blending and repeat until smooth and creamy like peanut butter.

Next, add coconut oil, melted chocolate and if texture is too thick, add water and blend mixture until creamy.

Spread chocolate hazelnut spread over banana halves, sprinkle with chopped hazelnuts and serve as healthy snack.
